Open Position

 The ideal candidate will have their clients and be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current clients in order to aid in their success using our services. As a Freight Agent, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the transportation of goods for our clients. Your role will involve sales, negotiation, customer relationship management and oversee day-to-day operations to provide efficient and cost-effective transportation solutions. 

We pay our agents up to 70% of the gross margin uncapped. 

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their transportation needs
- Generate leads and actively seek out new business opportunities
- Negotiate contracts with carriers and freight forwarders to secure competitive rates
- Coordinate the movement of freight, ensuring timely delivery
- Utilize our tools to build shipments, track, and provide real-time updates to clients
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistics operations and improve overall efficiency

Experience:

- 5+ years of experience in logistics industry
- Proven experience in logistics sales or freight brokerage
- Strong knowledge of transportation management systems and industry regulations
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and carriers
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
